I ve had a stiff jaw for the past two months. I hear clicking, then it gets really stiff. I also have these strange head pains that I usually only notice if I touch my head. I have a strange headache on my crown where when I touch it, my jaw on the opposite site hurts. I also get pain in my eye socket. Does this sound like TMJ? Should I see my dentist?
hi, stiffness and clicking of tmj durring opening mouth may be due to dislocation of tmj.
u should take semisolid food for 15 days ,do not eat hard food, dont open ur mouth wide, and take some muscle relaxant and should consult ur dentist.
Hi,
Thanks for query,
You might have loose tm joint giving rise click sound.Due to lax tm muscles you have this problem.
It is also likely that you might have impacted molar.
Consult your dentist.
ok and bye.

Do I Need To Visit Dentist For TMJ ?
Hi, Thanks for asking the query, Stiff jaw, clicking and popping jaw while opening and closing of mandible occurs due TMJ disorders. I would suggest you to visit to an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and get a checkup done, take an x-ray to look for the condition of the jaw. Take semisolid diet. Take mucle relaxants along with pain killers. Take a semisolid diet. Apply moist heat towels externally over both the jaws. Hope this helps out. Regards....
