Does Combiflam Taken For Pain Due To Paper Wasp Bite Cause Fever And Swelling In Eyes?

i got a paper wasp sting yesterday afternoon..pain was there and a little swelling.
to curb the pain at night i took combiflam. after half an hour after consuming the medicine..my eyes swelled and i got fever.
fever subsided but now in the morning still eyes are swollen.
is it the combiflam and stings reaction?

Welcome to HCM,
Paper wasp stings are painful and can cause the same risk of allergic reaction as other insect stings.
The symptoms may include generalized hives,rashes swelling of lips and eyes.
The symptoms what you are having are in favor of wasp sting.
The drug combiflam which you have taken to reduce the pain and swelling, this drug is being commonly used and the side effects are less.
It dose not mean that it will not produce the side effects.
The Patient should be subjected for clinical examination for further evaluation.
