Does Gatorade Cause Tongue Burning And Throat Itch?
Gatorade made my throat itch,burned my tongue and gave me cotton mouth for several hours....I was required to use it for colonoscopy prep...gave a trial run,without adding other parts.the dr.also suggests Crystal light,I generaly avoid sodas,etc but this is a one time event,thank you

In general the components of Gatorade don't cause a reaction like this but in your case it's obviously a kind of allergic reaction. I would suggest that from now on you avoid Gatorade, and sweetened beverages like sodas
