Does Methamphetamine Cause Drastic Dip In Blood Sugar Level?
A friend of mine was found in her home unresponsive with a blood glucose
level of 20 and methamphetamine in her system, the only part of her brain that was working was the part that regulates heart rate and temp, i think... she was put on a vent for a few days, but then showed no brain activity, was taken off the vent and given only morphine. she died 5 days later...I wish i had more facts but was it the meth that dropped her sugar. I know the brain needs o2 and glucose to live.

It wouldn't be the first time I've heard of this. It needs to be a bit more than simply methamphetamine. Starvation and methamphetamine or on medicines that lower blood sugar with methamphetamine OR seizures with methamphetmine or practically any infection along with it.
