Does Morphine Sulfate Cause Insomina?

Does Morphine Sulfate cause insomina? Sister has been on it for awhile, up for 48 or so hours, sleeps 24-ish. Went to see doctor yesterday and he increased the dose of Morphine and gave her temasapam 30mg for sleep. Last nite was a nightmare. She increased the dose of Morphine, and incoherant, hallucintating, fell, I was afraid to go to sleep myself.

Morphine in higher doses can cause hallucinations. That is the reason you had them. You should avoid higher doses of morphine. Instead temazapam doses can be increased to help in sleep.
