Suboxone contains a combination of buprenorphine and naloxone. Buprenorphine is also an opioid and can cause dependency. Using the combination for 6 years and stopping it abruptly can cause withdrawal symptoms. Inwould recommend you to consult your physician about the medication. It is advisable to taper the dose slowly along with psychological counselling. I hope the above information helps you. Thanks for writing into healthcaremagic. Take care.
