Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi. I am a 20 year old female and and I weight about 113. I'm 5"2 and since about the 22ed of December, I've had a bad pain in my back towards the left. It's more off toward my side about where I imagine my kidney's are? Not sure... I've gone to the doctor twice and have/had a UTI and gotten medcine for it which I only have a day left to take. However this pain is just getting sharper and now it's sort of spreading around my side to the front area. Is it just possible part of the UTI or what? It's very painful when I move a certian way or stand for to long. Also taking very deep breaths sometimes bothers it. I don't have insurence so I can't really ffor to go to the doctor if it is something I can treat or if it is in fact just part of the UTI and will simply go away in time. Thank you!
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern and I would say that urinary tract infection could cause the pain but that may be limited up to lower abdomen area, if the pain is radiating up to upper level and backside then the possibility of urinary stone need to be ruled out, hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
