Wysolone is a oral form of steroid , in your case it is imp to see why are you prescribed wysolone .as just for inflammation in the eye one cannot give wysolone , you need to describe the history of events in detail , and as far as giving it 10 mg , ideal dose is 1 mg /kg body weight, put in all the details please

Good Day
Wysolone is a steroid drug called Prednisolone which has has anti-inflammatory properties and used in high and/or chronic inflammation states. But it is supposed to be used for short period & in case of prolonged used can cause dependence so the dose has to be slowly tapered. The common side effects areweight gain;muscular weakness;depression;and most steroids are used with caution or best avoided in diabetic persons. As for the non-healing of wound it may be due to increase blood sugar which is also a side effect. The shorter period of use would be wise.
