Does A Cut From Rusted Nail Need Anti Tetanus Injection?

Hi there,
I have just cut myself with a sharp nail which was slightly rusty under a table in a coffee shop!
After it happened, there was a streak of blood but soon after that it looked a bit red and inflamed.
I simply licked the wound and put a band Aids on it until I reached home.
What kinds of risks are there? HIV? Tetanus?
Please help

I have gone through your query and can understand..

As per your complain getting injured with a rusted nail can have a risk of developing tetanus, not always necessary but there can be chances while chances of having HIV are very rare and almost nill until someone is unfortunate enough that the nail is contaminated with the blood of a HIV positive or AIDS patient..
You need not to worry and get a Tetanus Toxoid Vaccine injected for safety and prevention..
Clean the area of the cut with antiseptic solution and apply triple antibiotic ointment and a steroid ointment over it and then you can bandage..
Limit water exposure to injury site for faster healing..
