Does Absence Of Period Mean Pregnancy Or Reaction To Wisdom Teeth Extraction?
I had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted on October 30th. Normally, my period will start between the 4th and 7th of each month. I still have not started and it is the 14th. I took oxycodone and a nausea pill for my wisdom teeth. Could I be pregnant or is it a reaction to the surgery?
There are numerous factors that affect the menstrual cycle, so tes, not the surgery exactly, but the stress from it could have caused a slight delay. Also, many medications can also interfere with the menstrual cycle and so the medication that you are on could also affect this.
But if you have a positive history of having unprotected sexual contact, then it is best to rule out pregnancy. Please speak to a doctor regarding the same.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
