Does An Overweight Person Experiencing Sinus Congestion And Fatigue With Lightheadedness Worry About Heart Disease?
I've been experiencing sinus congestion for the past few days as well as head pain. Although my congestion is a bit better, my body temperature has consistently been under 96.5 and under 96.0 on a few occasions. I feel very fatigued and light-headed as well. Although I have no personal history of heart disease, I'm concerned about it as there is a family history. I am 46 years old, female, and overweight. Thank you.
Hi, thank you for asking Healthcare Magic I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. With this presentation, I do not think you need to worry. It could just be a common cold or some minor allergy. You can take drugs like acetaminophen (or Ibuprofen), antihistamine or nasal decongestant to control the symptoms. You may also need to control your blood pressure and do a lipid profile to be sure that your heart diseases risk factors are under control.
I hope that answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. We will be delighted to answer more questions from you. I wish you good health
