Does Bacterial Infection Cause Low Lymphocytes Level?
I have recently had a bacterial infection where my neutrophils were around 14,000. I have noticed that my lymphocytes were near the bottom of the normal range at 1.49. Is this normal after an infection or is this something to be concerned about? Thank you.
in most of the cases of bacterial infection lymphocytes increases except typhoid and tuberculosis (commonly). so it would be helpful for us if you provide us the diagnosis made so that we can exclude the other causes of lymphocytopenia.
