Does Blood In Urine Has Any Relation With Mild Thyroid?
My son, who is 22 years old, has a mild thyroid problem, but now he is seeing blood (brown) in his urine that increases with the increase of water he drinks. Can blood in the urine have anything to do with the thyroid problem? I know one of the thyroid drugs cause blood in urine, but he is not on that one, he is on one that starts with "my" I believe.
As per my surgical experience, thyroid disease or antithyroid drugs have nothing to do with blood in urine. The reason has to be evaluated with urine microscopy and ultrasound examination.
