Does Breast Cancer Cause Swelling In Different Parts?

I had triple negative breast cancer, Stage 2 last year. Went through two rounds of chemo - first Taxotere and Cytoxin. Three inch tumor disappeared. Double mastectomy with reconstruction and two weeks later had to have nipples removed as pre cancer cells found under them. Then a round of red Devil. Then radiation which ended in October. Recent PET scan all clear. Today I felt my buttock and legs swelling. Happened to take measurements yesterday and swollen to 2in larger today. The swelling is only on my buttocks, thighs and lower legs - not really ankles. Could this be related to my cancer? I also gained five pounds in 24 hours. Up to 105 lbs

Hi

Swelling or lumps around your collarbone or armpits can be caused by breast cancer that has spread to lymph nodes in those areas. The swelling may occur even before you can feel a lump in your breast, so if you have this symptom, be sure to see a doctor.
