Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... does caffeine affect phlebitis-the pain is horrible after 2 weeks wearing compression stockings. I cannot sit for even 10 minutes without the pain becoming terrible. I am allergic to aspirin and NSAIDS so using tylenol has not been very effective. Standing and walking relieves the pain but sitting in a car, chair or at a table is impossible. Sleeping at night is rough also. I do drink coffee througout the day-could caffeine be a problem. thanks, Mary B
