Hello and welcome,

It was a wise decision not to take the I pill twice. Please remember that an Ipill can be used only once for a single act of sex in one period. So it will not provide protection for repeated acts of sex in the same menstrual cycle.

In your case since the second act was very close to the first one, most likely pregnancy the I pill will protect against it. The delayed period may be due to the pill itself or stress of getting pregnant. So just wait for a few more days. If the periods are delayed for more than 3 weeks after the sexual episode then take a pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy. Most likely it will not be needed as the act was very close to the time of ingestion of I pill and periods will come soon. So do not worry.

Hope this satisfies your query.
