Does Exercise Help My Legs To Function Properly After An Operation? How Many Months Needed To Recover?

hi! i had my operation last nov 8 because of an accident, because i had a bone fractured on my leftleg above the knee the doctor decided to have my operation they put titanium inside ..im 3weeks now after the operation and i finished my 1week medication, does exercise helps my legs to function even though it s still have the pain? how many months for therapy?thanks

Exercise the v v v v IMPORTANT. Exercise for Quadriceps, Hamstring and Calf are all important. Also do the same for the unaffected leg too. Walk regularly w/o weight bearing on affected leg. With consultation of the operating surgeon you could start with partial weight bearing. Exercise for Hip muscles also is very keen.
