Does Having A Mammogram Cause Chest Pain?

I had a mammogram performed yesterday and this morning I woke up with a very painful chest pain that even caused a severe headache, I thought I was having a heart attack due to the pain. It this possible that after this exam you can experience such pain?

Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic forums.
Mammogram uses Xrays to scan your breast tissue. It can never cause an acute onset of Chest pain and Headache. The only possibility I think is the development of Costochondritis following the straining for taking the test.
My advice is to visit your physician and get an EKG.If its normal the doctor will give anti inflammatory medicines like Aceclofenac to resuce the inflammations.
Thank you.
