My 24 year old boyfriend has a herniated disc in his lower back. For the last 8 months he has been suffering with severe pain in the tip of his penis which radiates down his left leg into his toes. The pain is constant; however, whenever he begins to get an erection the pain in the tip of the penis intensifies. He has also noticed a small bulging vein located at the tip of the penis/ at the opening of the urethral. could this pain be related to the herniated disc?
it could be related to the herniated disc except for the bulging vein. Please specify the location of the herniated disc so that we can tell you if it is related or not
Hi! thank you for your response. I'm not sure of the exact location of the herniated disc. It is in his lower back, a few inches up from his tail bone. He has had an MRI and two EMGs, the mri picked up on the herniated disc but no nerve damage was evident. Can you suggest a type of specialist that he should see who can possibly help him?
