Hello, Welcome to HCM As you are giving history of snoring and suffocation while you lay down,it is suggestive of a condition called obstructive sleep apnoea. It is a condition wherein the loss of tone of pharyngeal musculature during sleep will lead to obstruction to the airflow leading to symptoms of suffocation. This condition has lead to hypertension in you case. Best method of treating this condition is weight loss and using CPAP machines. Burning sensation in the eyes is not due to hypertension. But high BP do affect eyes in the form of hypertensive retinopathy. So i would suggest you to consult an ophthalmologist and undergo complete eye checkup. Hope you are satisfied with the answer. Thank you
