Does Levothyroxine Interferes With The Probiotic And Lisinopril?
I take levothyroxine by 6:00 a.m. At 7:00 a.m. I take my probiotic (Blue Rock Holistics SUPER SHIELD). Wondering if there would be any interactions between those? At 8:00a.m. at breakfast I take krill oil, lisinopril, 80 mg. aspirin and metropolol. At 10:a.m. I take 2 ranitidine At noon I take my multivitamin and calcium along with other supplements
No, probiotic do not interact with Levothyroxine, and the schedule of your drugs is quite fine. The main thing to concern regarding the intake of the Levothyroxine is to take it on empty stomach, and avoid its use with calcium and iron supplements (at least two hours of gap in between them) as they can decrease its absorption.
Hope this help you understand your query. Please feel free to ask if you have any further questions or concerns.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
