Does Post Menstruation Affect Urine Analysis Result?
My last day of menstruation was last Sunday.I had my UA done yesterday and the result was increased pus cells that the dr. Told me i had UTI.same instance occur last year when i had UA postmenstrual period.then after repeat UA about a week the result is already normal without taking any medications.Does post menstruation affects UA result?thank u

I want to tell you that passing of urine is from a different passage and if it taken in a neat , clean & sterile vial and tested for urine analysis , the result will be accurate .As you mentioned that post menstruation , whether it effect result of urine analysis or not .
No way post menstruation interfere in urine result if all safety and sterile measures to be taken.
Yes it may happen that sometimes body itself control the pus in urine.
