Does Red Bump Around Anus Indicates Rectal Abscess?
I noticed a red, small (no bigger than half of a fingernail) bump around my anus. I'm worried that it might be rectal abscess. It feels membrane and sac-like like something might be inside of it as well. I've shown no signs of fever, but I haven't been having bowel movements after dinner lately. I'm just hoping that it's not serious.
Hello As you mentioned in the query it may be , 1 Fissure in anus ( around ) , diagnosis can be confirmed by physical examination by a surgeon . As you mentioned that it have membrane and sac so may be fissure in anus . 2 Hemorrhoid it may be piles , so physical examination by a clinician will find out it. 3 Least possibility may be abscess as you mentioned that there is no fever and pain ,so chance of abscess nil. 4 Ingrown infection may be another possibility . So consult a surgeon and get his opinion.
