Does Retin A Need To Be Applied Before The Moisturizer?
I have adult acne. I m being treated with topical clindamycin lotion, Retin-A and spot treatments of benzoyl peroxide. Do I put on the Retin_A before the oil-free non-comodgenic moisturizer? Also is there an oil-free mattefyig moisturizer with SPF? I have looked all over Target and CVS and Mary Kay
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have adult acne on face which is because hormonal change at particular age and due to blocking of skin pores with dust particles and dead bacteria. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to start with a application of oil-free non-comedogenic moisturizer and retin A before that and retinoids should be applied at night time as well. Use sun screen cream rich in spf 30 such as TAN CARE. Drink plenty of water. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit dermatologist once. Dermabrasion, Fractional CO2 Laser, Chemical peeling, Miocroabrasion are all recent methods of skin clearing. Apply creams rich in kojic acid. Don't pick up acne as it will leave scars on face. Apply benzoyl gel as well.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
