Does Serum B-hCG Titre Test Which Shows 12,078 MlU/ml Cause Any Defect Ion Baby?
my doctor recommended me to do a triple test. I did my serum B-hCG titre test on my 16th week of pregnancy. And it shows I have 12,078 mlU/ml. and the level of ESTRIOL is 3.6ng/ml. the level of S.Alpha Feto Protien is 46.12ng/ml. can you tell me if I have any high risk of having a baby with any brain problem or any other defect? I am 27 years old with 163cm and I weigh 50kg.
HI Well come to HCM I understand your concern, the high level of B-hCG and other test may not affect the growth of baby neither this could cause in danger to the brain in my opinion just forget about this, the only condition is there and that is if the doctor found something abnormal and wanted to rule out the possibility which might be related with the test that is being done, then you have to discuss this with doctor, hope this information helps you.
