Does Smelly Urine Occur Due To Prednisolone Intake?
my son is 18 months old and is taking prednisolone (5mg three times a day) for 5 days for a chest infection which has been ongoing for some time. He has been taking them for 2 days and I noticed this morning that his urine smelled quite strongly. Is this due to the steriods or something else? The only other change is that he has also been issued with an inhaler but I can t imagine that would affect his urine.

No, not due to steroids. It could be UTI. Get tests done like CBC, urine routine and urine culture sensitivity.
