Does Soreness Under The Jaw After A Bout Of Fever Need Doctor's Attention?

I had a fever and sore throat about two weeks ago and while the fever and body ache are gone there is still a soreness in my throat on the left side under the jaw where your pulse is but it does not feel swollen in that spot. It was fine yesterday but is sore again today. The right side of my throat is fine. Should I see a doctor?
