Hi, I have gone through your query. You had menses on 6th and had intercourse on 12th; i.e. on 6th day of menses. Usually the egg release takes place 14 days prior to the next expected menses. In your case, your cycle being of 27 days, it would be around 17th. A week around this date is fertile period. So it is very unlikely that you are pregnant. However, now that it is 9 days overdue, you can find out the status by doing urine pregnancy test and/or ultrasonography. If you are not pregnant (which is most likely) get an injection or tablets of Progesterone preparation from your Gynaecologist and you will get period within 4-8 days. I have got a feeling that delay in your menses is due to stress. If you happen to be pregnant, you can terminate the pregnancy by medicines. Please take these medicines by Gynaecologist s advice and under supervision only. Do not take them over the counter lest the risk of incomplete abortion and/or infection.
