Does Taking Celebrex For Tendinitiis Have Any Side Effect?

Hi I have chronic tendinitis in my hands and elbows, now my right arm due to continuous marking of student exams etc, I now have neck pain through to the trapezius, rhomboids, erector spine. I was recommended celebrex just to ease the pain when I have a heavy marking load, I am very concerned about side effects as in stroke. I am 55, fit swim 2 x week, bike ride 2 x week, do not take any medication other than analgesics and vitamin supplements. Swimming helps relieve the pain, but of course as soon as I am sitting at my desk marking back comes the pain. I realise I will have to ask for help marking but to help ease the pain I was considering celebrex. I do use a chinese sports liniment which is very helpful. Janine
