Does The CT Scan Findings Of Dark Tiny Spots In The Brain Indicate Cancer?

i have a friend who had a cancer removed from her breast about a year ago all went well, however this past week she has had 'stars' in her vision and a cloudy problem along with headaches - she went for a CT scan & this showed dark tiny spots in her brain- Dr's sending her for an MRI scan in a week. could this be cancer - i thought tumors came up bright in a CT scan? welcome to Health care magic.
1.No if there are multiple hypo-dense lesions ( dark spots ) it could not be cancer of the brain.
2.But multiple similar lesions are seen in the presence of cancer else where ( metastasis ).
3.Ultrasound abdomen pelvis has to be done to see if there are any lesions in liver.
4.Lymph nodal enlargement has to be seen.(neck, abdominal, inguinal)
5.Your doctor might be not sure of metastasis theta why asked for MRI.
Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health.
