Does The Discontinuation Of Amlodipine Cause Additional Damage To The Body?
I have been prescribed Amlodipine Besylate (5mG tab) to treat high blood pressure. I don t like taking medicine because of the side effects and long term health damage drugs do to the body. If I start taken this medicine, can i get off of it with out causing additional damage this medicine is going to cause?

Hi,
If you are having high blood pressure then you have to continue anti hypertensive medicine.
If you do not take your blood pressure will not be under control producing many problems in your body due to affecting heart,circulation in your body.
This will produce more harm than side effects of medicine.
If you have any problem with Amlodipine consult your doctor and ask for its substitute.
Ok and take care.
