Does The Jalra Action Interferes With The Short Acting Insulin?
I AM TAKING SHORT ACTING INSULIN ALONG WITH 50 MG. JALRA DURING THE LUNCH BUT THE POST MEAL SUGAR IS KEEPING ON THE HIGHER SIDE. THIS VALUE COMES DOWN WHEN MIXTARD 30:70 OR 50:50 IS TAKEN WITH JALRA. DOES JALRA ACTION HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH LONG ACTING/SHORT ACTING INSULIN
Hello, Action of JALRA ( VIDAGLIPTIN ) is independent of the action of insulin and has no connection with lowering the effect of inj insulin.Your high post meal blood sugar levels after use of short acting insulin is due to the less dose of insulin.Once the dose is increased, post meal blood sugar levels would be controlled. Thanks
