Does The Placenta Distance From Cervix On The Anterior Wall Lead To Complications?
Hi My name is Sangita, I am 22 weeks 3 days pregnant. I had my anomaly scan yesterday and the report says that the placenta is 2.9cm away from the cervix on the anterior wall. Does that mean any complications further ? The baby is fine and my health is also fine. Regards Sangita
ya distance of placenta from cervix matters alot... if placenta is implanted in lower segment of uterus, its called placenta previa...if it is too near the cervical os, then there is chances of bleeding during pregnancy and sometimes normal delivery is not possible in dangerous placenta previa... take care... avoid heavy work and sex...
thanks
