Does The Spots On The Thyroid Spread To The Spine?

I had3 cat scans and 3 MRI's in preparation for scoliosis surgery. What was found was a spot on my thjyroid and 2 spots on my spine. I have been waiting a week to get scheduled for biopsys, still waiting on hospital scheduling. Could the thyroid have spread to my spine. I am very nervous and would qask your opinion. Thanks

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

You have spot on thyroid. You may have thyroid swelling.

If you have thyroid swelling then you should go for FNAC or biopsy of that lump.

Papillary carcinoma or other carcinoma of thyroid can spread to spine.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic.
Wish you very good health.
