Done Total Knee Replacement. Pain From Muscle Cramps. Stopped Hydrocodone. Taking Potassium Supplements

I am currently 11 weeks out from total knee replacement and am having a lot of pain from muscle cramps or spasms in and around my knee. It started after I withdrew from Hydrocodone and had diarrhea for a few weeks. I have had massages, my PT has done ultrasound and TENS. We have babied the leg along by slowing down to nothing on exercise. I am taking muscle relaxers when there is a flare. Thought I was out of the woods last week and started to begin low level of strengthening exercises. After a few days, knee is now is spasm again. Doc put me on Potassium supplements late last week as tests proved slightly low. I am the same person who at 6 weeks out was ready to be released because I had terrific movement and gaining strength. What a mess. My Orthos have pronounced that despite my current symptoms that the knee has healed beautifully and is functioning properly. How can I regain my former health?

Greetings of the day

As your orthopedician has already examined you and has found out that healing is good, it just goes to reassure that everything is alright. It's a matter of time before you regain your previous strength
Drinking plenty of water and high fiber diet along with vitamin supplements Will help in speedy recovery

Take care
