Down With Pneumonia. Ultrasound Showed Fluid Around Heart, Prescribed Diuretic. How Serious Is This?
My Dad got admitted to the hospital yesterday with Pneumonia and today they did an ultrasound and said he has fluid around the heart and they are giving him a diuretic to try to get rid of the fluid. Since I haven t been able to talk to the Dr yet, I want to get a reading on how serious this could be as I may want to have him moved to Stanford hospital. Thanks
