Dry Mouth, Blisters On Tongue, Burning In Mouth And Throat, Foul Taste In Mouth. Cause?

well i just found this site... so i really haven t had a chance to do research. but this is my spouce s symptoms. this started a couple of days ago. have not gone to the dr. yet. He has dry mouth, sores/looks like blisters on tongue (only), inside of mouth everywhere burning inside and half way down his throat . No discharge that is noticed. Unpleasant taste in the mouth. Do you have any clue? The only different is that his Dr. put him on Doxy 100 mg for a sore he has on his inner thigh.

Oral ulcers can have multiple cause, the simple one can be due to infection, teeth bites,...the dreadest be due to oral cancer.
Foul smelling discharge is due to ongoing anaerbic infection...
Here you can try boroglycerine mouth paint to prevent the ulcer sticking to neighbouring structure thereby facilitatinh healing. Antibiotics like metronidazole can be tried for anaerobic infection.....vit.C or B complex helps healing...
If there are sharp jagged teeth they should be taken care of...

A word of caution is if ulcer do not heals in a few days consult oral surgeon who may ake a biopsy from the ulcer...
