History Of Bladder Infection. Urine Culture Showed Group B Streptococci. Itching And Discharge Present. Antibiotic Dint Help.
Hi. I recently was diagnosed with a bladder infection. I had no pain or anything. The reason I had gone in was because of a dark discharge.
I have a lighter color discharge now, but more than my normal amount. I also have slight itching throughout the day. Not all the time.
I took a urine test and culture. It came back with group b strep. I took an antibiotic and I still have the discharge and itching.
My dr told me last time I was there, I had a little redness in my vagina and a little bit of white blood cells.
What else could this be? I took a chlamydia and ghonnerea(sp?) test and it came back negative. My dr said she couldn't see any reason for this... It's been a couple months now and I'm getting worried...
Hi welcome to Health care magic forum. It appears that you might be having a mixed infection with the anaerobic infection. You may need to have a culture and sensitivity of the urine for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment depending on the result. I advise you to consult a urologist for diagnosis and treatment. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and and protein rich foods. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
