I have a dull aching headeache type pain around the back base of my skull and I have had waves of nausea and and dizzy on and off, its also hard to focus with my eyes (no severe head pain or eye issues) Any idea, I have had a someone suggest some kind of ear problem but the doctor checks my ears and since they are fine.

Hi,
Based on your description you are probably suffering from tension headache which at times can be very annoying. You can try these simple suggestions for pain relief. First, use any simple analgesic like paracetamol, ibuprofen, naproxen along with domperidone (antiemetic) as soon as the headache starts (10-15 min) & see how pain responds. Secondly use deep breathing exercise, head massage, neck massage & daily walks in natures surrounding for 20-30 minutes in the pain free interval. Third, maintain a pain diary where after resolution of headache, you shall rate your headache out of 10 & compare your scores everyday for 10 days. I hope by all this, you should be free of headche in 2 weeks or so. Good luck
