ESR 50 Abdominal Pain And Lost 14 Pounds Of Weight. Endoscopy Results Normal, So What Does That Mean ?
my sister age 30 ESR 50 abdominal pain and 14 pounds weight loss my sister age 30 her ESR 50 and having abdominal pain since a month and lost 14 pounds of her weight .endocopy results normal so what does that mean?

If her ESR is 50 she further require investigations like complete blood check,X ray chest,urine check up and sonography of abdomen.
So consult physician and gynacologist to conclude the diagnosis and treatment.

Increased ESR is a sign of active infection or inflammation going on in our body.Normal ESR is upto 20 but even anaemia can cause slightly raised ESR.IF your sister has lost weight and has abdominal pain then you need to get her investigated to find the cause .It can be a gastritis;infection of stomach if she has loose motions associated with pain;even it can be TB in abdomen.Kindly get further examined by a doctor and investigated as the ESR is not diagnostic in your sister's case.Please consult a doctor for further advise and treatment.
