Ear Pain, Hearing Loss. Using Hydrogen Peroxide, Bleeding. Treatment?

Hello I have been dealing with an ear ache, and last night I had put a little hydrogen peroxide on a q-tip and inserted it in my ear canal . when I pulled it back out there was a lot of blood . When the bleeding stopped my partner had me put some olive oil in my ear and go back to bed. Now that I have woken up I m partially deaf in that ear. Is this something that will heal on it s own? I can t afford health care.

It seems you have traumatized your auditory canal. In such cases the most common injuries are located over the tympanic membrane (ear drum) and such injuries do heal well if you been healthy.

However as you report hearing impairment, it warrants a clinical examination by a competent ENT specialist.

I understand a visit to a doctor is not what you wish, but perhaps you may visit a free clinic where a doctor can look into your ear and confirm the type and severity of injury. We can then plan a type of treatment then.
