Experiencing Delay In Periods & Slight Pain In The Left Ovary
I stopped taking birth control about one month ago and since then have not gotten my period. My last period ended on or about 4/2/14. A couple of days ago I saw a little brown spotting but nothing since. I was experiencing cramping for a few days this week but that has since stopped. I occassionally will feel a slight pain in my left ovary(this past week) and my nipples were quite sore about two weeks ago but that has since subsided. Does this sound like pregnancy or just that my body is adjusting to being off the pill?
The symptoms you are experiencing could very well be due to stopping birth control pills. It can take a few months for the menstrual cycle to completely regularize after stopping the pill. However, please take a home pregnancy test too to rule out pregnancy.
