Experiencing Dull Pain In The Right Eye And Neck, What Is The Problem ?
Hi. I feel neck pain-back at the right side- for two years. Since this time my right pupil is bigger than my left pupil especially in worse light conditions. In good light conditions they are just equally small. I see 2-3 times a day flashes of lights - small dots and from time to time i feel sharp pain-1 second- in my right eye. When i feel this sharp pain i do not see flashes of light and vice versa. I feel often(every day) dull pain in my right eye and in my neck too. How can i solve this problem. Is this a serious? MRI shows that my eye is OK. Thank you for the answer.
Hello I would come up with these possibilities for this eye problems, these includes. 1 Brain tumor as glaring in vision, dilation of pupil , pain in the neck and behind eye are suggestive of brain tumor . Diagnosis can be confirmed by M R I of brain. 2 Inter-ocular tension may be high .Diagnosis can be confirmed by measurement of tension ( pressure in eyes ). 3 Tumor in optic chiasma or around retina . Physical examination by an ophthalmologist will find out the right cause . In my opinion these all symptoms are concerning . I would recommend you visit an ophthalmologist earliest to sort out this problem. Good luck. Dr. HET
