Experiencing Sharp Pain On The Left Side Of The Head, Is It Due To POTS ?
My daughter is 17 years old and for the past year has been having on and off headaches. The doctor finally determined that she has Postural Orthostatic Tachycaria syndrome. He said that all she could do was drink more water and consume more salt. She has been fine, but has recently had problems again. She has been having headaches and dizziness and nausea, like before, but now she is having occasional sharp pain on the left side of her head. This wasn't one of the symptoms for POTS. Is it really POTS or has she been misdiagnosed?
