Explain About The Treatment For Gynecomastia

i am suffering from Gynecomastia from years.Now I come to know there is a medical treatment for my problem, so I thought to go for it.Before that I want to about the cost of the treatment. As I am residing in Hyderabad an you tell me cost of the treatment and hospital names.

Hi Dear

Age, gender, drug intake and underlying disease if any not mentioned.

I can understand your problem, there is nothing to worry about it.
By the way you have not mentioned the duration of your problem or do you take any medications like Cimetidine, Spironolactone etc (which are known to cause gynaecomastia) if you stop taking these medications the gynaecomastia will disappear.

There is a drug called Tamoxifen which is known to be effective in the treatment of gynaecomastia for that you have to consult an endocrinologist doctor in some of the hospitals in Hyderabad like NIMS, Appollo, BGS global etc.

Some time you may have to undergo surgical removal of the glandular tissue if the treatment with Tamoxifen fails,.
