Nothing helps.... it is now the end of the day and my throat is even more dry to the point where i feel like if i breath deeply my throat will be so dry that my eyes will water and i will cough.... i have absolutely no other symptoms/ dont feel like im getting sick or catching anything... also the dryness feeling is more severe when i breathe through my nose than when i breathe through my mouth, but it is dry either way! I am going through the exact same thing, but it's been a week now, it seems like it's only on the breathing tube not the eating tube if there is such thing lol, so what was it that you had? did you take something that helped out?

Hello,
welcome to HCM,
There are several reasons for xerostomia (dry mouth). Dry mouth is a side effect of both prescription & non prescription drugs. Conditions which leads to dehydration, diarrhoea, vomitings, excessive sweating, blood loss, burns etc causes dry throat. Even the prodromal symptoms of Fever causes dry mouth. See a physician to rule out any problems. Take care.

Hi

I will try my best to answer your query.

You might have sore throat. Home remedies include salt water gargles, hard candies, sprays and lozenges, which can provide temporary pain relief. A humidifier may be helpful in relieving symptoms, especially in sore throats caused by mouth breathing dry air. Acetaminophen or ibuprofen may help control the pain.

If the pain will not subside by day or two consult the physician.

Hope my answer will be helpful for you.

Take care.

Hi, you must be having throat infection. The only thing that will cure it is a course of antibiotics. So go to ask your Doc the same.
