Eye Injury, Swelling, Conjunctival Hemorrhage, Black Shades Under Eye. What Will Work?

Hi, i got punched in the eye 2 months ago. quite hard since my eye got swelling and conjunctival hemorhage. now the swelling and blood has been gone, but i still got some black shades under my eye. and i also noticed that my right eye (the one punched) is a bit pushed in. is this condition permanent and should i be worried. now i feel no pain at all, but i feel ashamed and it is really disturbing my confidence. can i do something about it.
thankyou

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hi Friend I am Dr Bilal and I am an Ophthalmologist
Welcome to Health Care Magic and thanks for writing to us .
I would like to answer your question and your satisfaction is my goal .

First of all , I can understand your feelings as this problem is affecting your confidence , but nothing to be ashamed of . It was none of your fault . As per history given by you , it is obvious that you suffered from black eye after being punched in the eye . These black shades under your eyes may take longer time to disappear . May be a month or two . The main problem is not the black shades under your eyes , they will resolve with time . The main problem is that your right eye is pushed in and it could be a blow out fracture of the orbit which is common after blunt trauma to this region . I would like to ask you a few questions . Have you ever experienced diplopia ( double vision ) after this incident , have you ever experienced a difficulty in moving your eyes in any plane as there could be an entrapped extra ocular muscle . I would suggest you to visit your eye doctor as you may need to get your X-rays and MRI done to rule out the blow out fracture .

I hope you will find my answer helpful .
Wish you good luck .
Best regards .
