Eye Injury, White Portion Looking Red. Prescribed Cipolex Eye Drops. Safe To Use?
Hi. Day before yesterday some one has hit my kids eye in his school. After that white portion of his eye is looking reddish. Our local doctor suggested that use for cipolex eye drop for 4 times daily. Now my question is shall I use Cipolex eye drop for my child? Thanks
Hello, It seems from the history that your child had injury following which redness developed. This is probably trauma induced conjunctivitis or sub conjunctival hemorrhage. The treatment is by antibiotic eye drops for conjuncitvitis and by simple observation for subconjunctival hemorrhage. Since your child is of school going age ciplox eye drops can be safely used. Thank you
