Fatigue, Nausea, Lightheadedness, Migraine After Hitting Head. Reason?

I twisted my ankle badly the other day. As soon as I sat down I passed out then woke up on the floor about a minute later. I hit my head on tile floor on the right side right beside my eyebrow. I didn t go to the doctor. Sense then I ve felt fatigue , nausea , lightheadedness , and migraines. I m getting very worried. It s been about 48 hours since the accident. Any ideas?

Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms. First of all, I would like to reassure you that there is no need to worry, as your symptoms do not suggest any serious brain injury.

Your passing out could be due to syncope (on account of reduced blood flow to brain related to severe pain).

Your current symptoms are part of concussion and you would get better in a few days.

As of now, you can take symptomatic treatment with ibuprofen (for headache) and betahistine (for dizziness).

I hope my reply has helped you.

I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.

Best wishes,
