Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. I would like to advise you as follow after going through your report. 1 Cholesterol level is marginally high 232 ( 160-220 mg/dl). triglyceride 366 ( 10-160 mg/dl), very very high, hdl & ldl are normal , urea also normal. 2 Fatty infiltration of liver is dangerous and to investigated for any primary lesion any where else in body. 3 Cholesterosis is characterized by abnormal deposition of LIPID, especially cholesteryl esterase in gallbladder . If it converted into cholesterol stone then cholecystectomy ( removal ) is only an option. In my opinion at present need not to worry about cancer . Get in all liver function test and deal accordingly. Consult a gastroenterologist and get his opinion without any fear. Good luck.Dr. HET
Fatty liver is not a pre-cancerous liver problem, in fact it is reversible. Fatty liver is caused mostly by high fat diet and it is usually associated with high lipid or cholesterol in the blood, we call it hypercholesterolemia. Diet modification together with exercise corrects cholesterolemia and eventually corrects fatty liver. So, dont worry much.. have your blood cholestetol level checked regularly while you modify your diet.
Pls follow up
Thanks
Dr. Eric
